Brad Paisley is well known for his guitar shredding and tour pranks, but the singer is also a thoughtful headliner, which his touring family learned firsthand recently. During a tour stop in Albuquerque, N.M., the "Last Time for Everything" singer rented out a local movie theater for his entire touring staff.

"Late night Spider-man Homecoming showing for the tour last night! Thanks Icon Cinema Albuquerque!" Paisley captioned a photo posted to Instagram beside tour openers Chase Bryant, Lindsay Ell and Dustin Lynch.

All four artists took a break from performing throughout Paisley's Weekend Warrior World Tour over the weekend for a viewing of Spider-Man: Homecoming. For one artist it was perhaps a little too relaxing.

Country Music's Best Tour Pranks

"I loved being your movie date," Bryant tells Paisley via Instagram. "Sorry I fell asleep, but I still remember the beginning and the end so I pretty much know the whole story!"

Ell shared her gratitude for Paisley when she reposted his photo from the theater.

"Just another reminder why @bradpaisley is the coolest... When you take your whole tour to the movies," she writes.

Paisley is keeping busy this year with the release of his latest album Love and War. The singer has also penned two songs for the Cars 3 soundtrack and will return to co-host the CMA Awards in November for the 10th time with Carrie Underwood. Additionally, he'll host his own comedy specialBrad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo, which is set to air on Netflix on Aug. 15.

The hour-long comedy special will feature special guests and fellow comedians Nate Bargatze, John Heffron, Jon Reep, Sarah Tiana and Mike E. Winfield. Baywatch star David Hasselhoff (who also co-stars in Paisley’s “Last Time for Everything” video) and Reba McEntire will also make appearances in the special.
