Wearing a black t-shirt with an image of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Brad Paisley brought pizzaz to the 2013 CMAs stage with, of course, 'The Mona Lisa.'

The singer was certainly sporting a grin much wider than the famous muse's slight smirk, and he played a rockin' set until he disappeared into the crowd, quickly weaving through the audience and jamming away on his guitar. If there's anything we love more than Brad Paisley singing, it's the sight of him tearing up the stage with his guitar.

The singer and CMA co-host performed with extreme intensity, rocking his cowboy hat-clad head with a rock-heavy song that has surprisingly romantic lyrics. Paisley sang, "Now they’ve written books about da Vinci’s muse / Now I know it wasn’t but it shoulda been you / 'Cause I feel like the frame that gets to hold the Mona Lisa / And I don’t care if that’s all I ever do." And, all the while, Mona Lisa's face held a hint of a smile, which was a rather funny contrast.

'The Mona Lisa' is off of the country star's 17-track album 'Wheelhouse' which included a slew of collaborators. Although Paisley isn't a world-renowned painter like the beloved da Vinci, he's certainly a world-famous country artist, and his CMA performance was just another reminder that he's not only a great host -- he's also a fantastic musician.
