Yesterday's Showdown was the most voted on ever! Fans of Brantley Gilbert and Eric Church displayed their loyalty, casting votes until the last seconds of the contest on Taste of Country Nights radio. In the end, Gilbert's 'Kick It in the Sticks' won with just over 60 percent of the vote, meaning the soon-to-be hit song will take on another challenger. Today, it's a good friend of the 'Halfway to Heaven' famer.

Jason Aldean's new album may be the year's most anticipated. Last week, he released the first single, a mid-tempo country love song called 'Take a Little Ride.' Aldean sings it with familiar country road grit and savvy. It's as easy to sing along with as any song on country radio, but does the song resonate loud enough to topple the red-hot 'Kick It in the Sticks?'

Listen to clips of both Gilbert's and Aldean's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour online, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. Hear the full versions of the songs tonight after 10PM on Taste of Country Nights, and vote again by calling (888) 678-9995. You can listen to the show online through any of the 33 radio stations that carry it. Voting will end tonight at 10:40PM CT.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
