Two party songs will go head to head during this long weekend's Showdown song battle. You can't do much better than Brantley Gilbert's 'Small Town Throwdown' during a party weekend. However fans may think the new song from Jerrod Niemann matches him step for step.

'Donkey' is Niemann's hilarious second single from the 'High Noon' album. "Gonna ride that donkey donkey / Down to the Honky Tonky," Niemann sings during this club-inspired country rocker. It was an iTunes hit when it first leaked earlier this year. Those same fans will need to stand tall to take down Gilbert and company's new song. He's a multi-day champion.

Listen to clips of both Gilbert’s and Niemann’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Monday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Monday.
