Brantley Gilbert will soon be a married man. In a chat with Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex, the "One Hell of an Amen" singer and his fiancee, Amber, dished a little bit about what the ceremony will entail.

The upcoming nuptials will be a family affair. The country star will have a special officiant perform the ceremony, marrying him to the schoolteacher he fell for so long ago.

“He’s my cousin, but he’s also one of the most prominent Christian counselors in the southeast," Gilbert tells Alex, adding that his country introduced him to his bride. “He was a youth minister at the church I was working off some community service hours, and she was in the youth group, and ... yep! And it goes on and on and on, bro.”

The 30-year-old wouldn't reveal the wedding date, admitting that when he previously hinted at when the event would take place, it backfired! “I said that there was a show around that time and people figured it out, when the date was so we had to move it and now I can’t tell," Gilbert says.

Amber joined her fiancé for the interview, and she did encourage Gilbert to share their honeymoon location with ToC Nights. "It’s funny to hear him say where we’re going," she said in her sweetest Southern accent before Gilbert spilled the location.

“Little Dix Bay," he reveals. Although it does sound pretty funny, it's an actual place in the British Virgin Islands, and it sounds like the perfect way to celebrate wedded bliss.

Sam Alex is the host of Taste of Country Nights radio, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 60 Townsquare Media Group stations nationwide.
