Hank Williams, Jr. crushed the Showdown competition once again. For five straight song battles, 'I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink' whooped some country butt, meaning the song gets to enjoy comfortable retirement in the Showdown Hall of Fame. Today and tomorrow, two relative newcomers will square off to begin their journey.

Brett Eldredge's new single from his debut album is called 'Beat of the Music.' The peppy love song is the follow-up to the chart-topping hit 'Don't Ya.' An irresistible chorus will help secure votes against one of the more interesting songs of 2013, 'Drink to That All Night' by Jerrod Niemann. It's a seamless fusion of styles from a singer who knows no boundaries.

Listen to clips of both Eldredge and Niemann's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
