Brett Eldredge says it best when he says the CMA Music Festival is unlike any other country music — or just music — festival on the planet. Fans who couldn’t make it to Nashville in June will get a chance to experience the party on ABC next Tuesday (Aug. 4). The “Lose My Mind” singer joins several other hit makers to talk about the thrill of playing stages big and small during this important week.

“You get a chance to meet your most diehard fans CMA week,” Thomas Rhett says in this sneak peek video, premiering exclusively on Taste of Country. “And it’s very humbling to meet those people.”

Rhett is a veteran to the big stage. For four straight nights dozens of stars and tens of thousands of fans filled LP Field (now Nissan Stadium), home to the Tennessee Titans. Each play a shortened set of hits, the best of which are featured during ABC’s broadcast. For artists like Maddie & Tae, the festival is a dream come true.

“We are so grateful and so thankful to be here,” the duo say. CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock airs at 8PM ET on ABC, and includes performances from Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood and many more. Once again Little Big Town will host the broadcast, which includes live performances and behind-the-scenes interviews and look-ins at the 2015 festival.

“It’s a culture,” Eldredge says about the fans who flock to Nashville for four days in early June. More than 20 artists will appear during the three-hour broadcast. The 2016 CMA Music Festival runs June 9-12.
