For the eighth year in a row, Brooklyn's Country Cantina will return to Austin, Texas, to provide some calm among the South by Southwest mayhem.

The event will take place March 19 at Licha's Cantina (1306 E. 6th St) from 11AM to 2AM. There will be two stages of emerging and established Americana, roots, bluegrass and progressive country artists to entertain festival-goers at this house-party style event.

Confirmed for this year's lineup are: Sam Outlaw, Daniel Romano, David Wax Museum, Robbie Fulks, Mike and the Moonpies, Dana Falconberry and Medicine Bow, Banditos, the Quebe Sisters, the Defibulators, the Wild Reeds, Luke Winslow-King, Possessed by Paul James, Christian Lee Hutson, the Whiskey Gentry, XIXA, Margaret Glaspy, Al Scorch, Daddy Long Legs, the Yawpers, Michaela Anne, Kacy & Clayton, Jeremy Nail, All the Elements, Misisipi Mike Wolf, the Easy Leaves, Croy and the Boys, Amanda Avery and B.B. Palmer.

Brooklyn Country Cantina 2016 is sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery. If you arrive early enough to the show, you could get yourself a "CURA CRUDA" breakfast featuring Brooklyn Brewery Micheladas and special hangover-curing breakfast tacos.

Other country acts will be involved with SXSW this year, too. Kacey Musgraves and Maren Morris will be performing, both at the annual Spotify House on March 16. Loretta Lynn, Corey Smith, Maggie Rose and several others will also be making appearances, as well. A full listing of country acts participating can be found on the festival's website.
