Brothers Osborne are no strangers to covers — TJ and John frequently give their own rendition to songs by the Band and Willie Nelson in concert. More recently, the duo put their own live twist on the Dixie Chicks' "Goodbye Earl" earlier this summer.

A video captured at the duo's Kansas City tour date on July 21 show TJ's deep baritone enhancing the iconic song about spousal abuse, which eventually leads to murder. His vocals combined with John's impressive guitar playing make the already dark song even more somber. A more aggressive rock take on the original, the audience seemed to enjoy the cover, as they can be heard singing along in the background.

Brothers Osborne are currently on the road with Miranda Lambert and Kip Moore for Lambert's Keeper of the Flame Tour. This fall, the brothers will embark on their very first headlining tour.

The Dirt Rich Tour will kick off in Rosemont, Ill., on Sept. 22 and make stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas and Vancouver, among other cities, before it wraps Jan. 14 of next year.

“‘Dirt Rich’ is a song on the record that makes a statement about who we are and where we come from,” John explains in a press release. “We felt it was an appropriate title for the tour because it really defines who we are.”

“We have been fortunate to be a part of some really great tours but this one is especially exciting because we’ve been building towards this for a while,” T.J. adds. “We can’t wait to perform more of our material in an intimate setting with the fans out there. It’s going to be a blast.”
