In September, the Cadillac Black frontman Jaren Johnston stopped a show in New York City to take a knee in front of his girlfriend of over 10 years. Evyn Mustoe was standing just off stage, as she's done often in the past, when Johnston dedicated a song to her and then asked her to commit to him forever.

"She didn’t see it coming at all,” he tells Taste of Country. “She was completely surprised.” Mustoe works for ASCAP in Nashville. The Cadillac Black were on tour with ZZ Top after a year that included an opening slot on the Eric Church Tour.
