Just when the members of the Cadillac Black thought things might start to slow down, they got the surprise of the lifetime when they were handpicked to open up for ZZ Top on their new headlining tour this fall, also featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The trek kicked off Friday (Sept. 7), and will carry on through Sept. 16 when the guys play their final show in Kodak, Tenn. at Smokies Stadium. The new tour comes just days after wrapping up the Back to College Tour with headliner Dierks Bentley.

"What we've tried to do with the Cadillac Black is create a sound that morphs everything we love into one big party for the ears," says TCB's lead vocalist, Jaren Johnson. "We've kept that same mindset with touring. We have been very blessed to get to tour with everyone from rock and roll legends ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd to country stars Eric Church and Dierks Bentley. As you can imagine, those stages are quite different from each other, but honestly we feel right at home on both, especially because all of the fans are there to get rowdy, booze it up and hear some great music! We play the same exact set no matter who we are playing with, we just do what we do."

For those who can't catch the Cadillac Black on the road, they can head over to any digital retailer to pick up their self-titled debut album. The album's lead single, 'Get Your Buzz On,' will be hitting country radio airwaves later this month.
