Apple has been hosting its annual iTunes Music Festival for eight years, but it has never had a country artist as a headliner ... until now. Now under its new moniker, the Apple Music Festival, the 10-day event is featuring Carrie Underwood as one of its headliners in 2015.

Underwood will take the stage Sept. 21 at London’s Roundhouse. The entire festival takes place from Sept. 19-28.

"Playing in the UK is always such a thrill!” shares the country superstar. "I’m really looking forward to heading back and being a part of such an amazing lineup at this year’s Apple Music Festival. What a unique concert experience, not only for the fans at the Roundhouse, but also for fans across the globe who can stream it live!"

The festival is free for fans around the world, broadcast live and also available afterward on demand via Apple Music and Apple TV. Performances will also include fellow headliners Pharrell Williams, One Direction, the Weeknd and more.

Underwood recently released her new single “Smoke Break” from her upcoming fifth studio album. The accompanying video has her showing off her hotter-than-ever post-baby bod and crooning along a desert highway until her car breaks down, forcing her to hitchhike. The new record, Storyteller, is set to drop Oct. 23, but "Smoke Break" is available now on iTunes and Apple Music. The artist says fans will soon be able to hear the tune live, as she is currently working on plans to tour Storyteller, her first all-new record in more than three years.
