Last summer Carrie Underwood fans found out the singer would be featured in an upcoming episode of VH1's 'Behind the Music.' Now the Oklahoma native's small-screen documentary from college co-ed to global country music superstar has an air date. Underwood's episode on the long-running television series is set to debut on Sept. 30 at 9 PM ET on Vh1.

Filmed on location in Nashville, Underwood's segment includes footage of the singer discussing the audition process of 'American Idol,' winning the popular reality television show and the struggles that accompany instant success as one of the hottest singers in all of music. The 'Blown Away' singer's tw0-year-old marriage to professional hockey player Mike Fisher is also discussed.

In edition to her 'Behind the Music' feature, Vh1 will premiere 'Vh1 Present: Carrie Underwood Unplugged' on Oct. 2 at 4PM ET. Fans unable to catch the television special can view Underwood's exclusive performances of her new material and country classics on the network's official website.

Underwood's placements on VH1 are just two of the singer's appearances during an extensive media blitz in promotion of 'Blown Away,' the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee's fourth studio album. The 14-track collection has just been certified platinum, and features the No. 1 smash single 'Good Girl.' The album's title track is currently Top 10 on country radio and climbing.

Underwood is currently on the road for the North American leg of her 'Blown Away' tour. Click here for tour dates and ticket information.
