Carrie Underwood Receives Farm Art From Husband for Christmas

Carrie Underwood's second Christmas with husband Mike Fisher seems to have been a good one, as the country starlet received one gift she was especially fond of: an 18x18-inch oil painting of a cow named Harry. Underwood's hockey star husband purchased the painting after his wife fell in love with it at Tennessee's Laurel Leaf Gallery a few weeks before, according to a recent post on MjsBigBlog.

The painting features the face of a cow staring directly at the viewer, and we can see why Underwood was so taken by the bovine beauty's big, bright eyes -- they have a bit of the soft puppy dog effect. The artist, Carol DeMumbrum, is now offering fans a chance to win a print of Harry. Just "like" her Facebook page to be entered into the drawing.

On her own blog, DeMumbrum seemed elated by the celebrity purchase, saying, "It was such a blessing painting Christmas commissions this year, and knowing Carrie was receiving 'Harry' was icing on the cake!" She also added that she will be painting a variety of cow prints in the new year.

Aside from collecting art beneath her Christmas tree, Underwood has been busy wrapping up her 2012 release, which she has yet to unveil a release date or title for. Fans can eagerly await the project, which will be Underwood's first in almost three years.
