Less than two days before the release of her fifth studio album, Storyteller, on Friday (Oct. 23), Carrie Underwood unveiled a special performance of one more track from the record via an intimate, stripped-down rendition of “Heartbeat.”

The video, sponsored by Target, features Underwood and her band giving an acoustic live performance of the sentimental ballad, a tribute to the quieter moments in a relationship. Underwood’s passion for the song and its lyrics is clear in her delivery, reminding fans that she’s got a down-to-earth, real-life happy marriage with husband Mike Fisher. The artist gives a flawless vocal performance, as usual. Check out the full performance above.

The record is Underwood’s first all-new album in three years. Its first single, “Smoke Break,” has been lighting up the charts, reaching No. 5 so far on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and No. 7 on Billboard Country Airplay. It also set a record for first-week radio adds for the largest in the history of Country Aircheck.

Underwood performed on the Today show Oct. 23 for the album release, and she is also gearing up to host the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley for the eighth time on Nov. 4. She has been chosen to headline the biggest country music festival in the U.K., Country to Country, in 2016.
