Carrie Underwood finds herself in millions of homes across America this football season with her new Sunday Night Football intro. Each Sunday, the global superstar sings to kick off Sunday Night Football the only way she knows how — with plenty of vocal power and shimmer.

After several teaser video clips of Underwood's new football theme song surfaced, the singer revealed the full intro to America's favorite sport Sunday night (Sept. 11) during the 2016 NFL season kickoff game, and it was full of glitz and glamor.

Underwood begins the festivities by running through the football field and locker room in a black sequined long-sleeved dress and heels.

“America’s game, been waiting all day / The best of the best have come to play / The gang’s all here, let’s turn it up / It’s the NFL can’t get enough,” she sings on “Oh, Sunday Night,” set to her previous 2014 hit with Miranda Lambert, “Somethin’ Bad.”

Throughout the clip, Underwood prances around as the video pans to football players getting ready for game day in their locker rooms, cheerleaders practicing their halftime routine and on-air broadcasters prepping for the game. Additionally, highlights from previous games are shown on the screen as Underwood fist-bumps some of the players as they head onto the field. Of course, any Underwood show isn't complete without some fireworks, and that's exactly how her NFL introduction ends.

“It’s been great with the new song and there was kind of a new energy in the building today,” Underwood says in a promo clip. “It was nice to be around the guys and see them interact with each other and just get to hang around them for the day.”
