Country music is going high fashion on Feb. 28, as the always stylish Carrie Underwood will perform at the Nordstrom Symphony Fashion Show. The event will also include an exclusive presentation of the pre-Fall 2012 collection designed by the one and only Oscar de la Renta. How chic.

Country Music Is Love reports that radio and TV personality Storme Warren will serve as the emcee of the event, which is scheduled to run from 6 to 10 PM at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. There will be cocktails beforehand, along with a dinner.

It'll be Underwood's first performance at the Symphony Fashion Show. The most recent Nordstorm show took place in September of 2011.

In addition to food, drinks and quality entertainment provided by Underwood, guests will be able to get up close and personal with the designs by browsing at a boutique inside the Schermerhorn.

This is not some frivolous fashion event, either. Proceeds will benefit the Symphony and allow it to continue to produce free community concerts with national artists for local audiences as well as to provide music education to students.
