Carrie Underwood graduated as the salutatorian of Checotah High School in Checotah, Okla. in 2001 and went on to study Communications at at Northeastern State University, finishing her degree after winning 'American Idol.' The singer dreamed of being a television news anchor, but found fame on TV in a very different way. One can't say it was unpredictable, however. During a 2013 interview with Marie Claire, Underwood revealed what she wrote in her high school yearbook. “You were supposed to say what you would be doing in 10 years, and I said, ‘I will be rich, famous, and married to a hot guy,’" the singer says, adding, "I guess I should have added a few more things.”
