The 'Incredible Machine' will spin for Casey James, former 'American Idol' season nine contestant. The singer-guitarist will join up with Sugarland for the March leg of the band's Incredible Machine Tour. James is currently in the studio working on his BNA Records debut album, which is due out later this year, but he is taking a few weeks to keep his live legs under him.

"I am so excited," James declares in a statement, “I think it’s an awesome opportunity to play in front of people that love great music. I can’t wait to get back out there and share new music with the fans.”

James appeared on 'Idol' last season and made it all the way to the finals, eventually placing third overall upon his elimination. He also performed 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn' with Poison's Bret Michaels on the show and was consistently praised for his guitar prowess.
