Who Is Casey Weston From ‘The Voice’?

Casey Weston broke out of the mold of her athletic family to pick up a guitar and start playing country songs. Now, the high school senior from Naples, Fla. is making waves on 'The Voice' after her second-chance audition of Keith Urban's 'Stupid Boy' won over coach Adam Levine.

Weston's parents are professional volleyball players, and along with her siblings, she was being groomed to be an athlete, too. However, in middle school she decided to pick up a guitar, and she's been playing music ever since.

The 18-year-old has already has played a number of noteworthy gigs, including shows opening for James Otto and Craig Morgan. In 2009, Weston released a self-titled EP, which is available for purchase through her official website.

After failing to earn the coaches' favor with her performance of Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb,' Weston was given a second chance to impress them. Thankfully for Weston, her performance of 'Stupid Boy' earned her a spot on Levine's team.

"Iʼm so excited to be able to work with Adam Levine," wrote Weston on her post-show blog. "Itʼs going to be one crazy ride, and Iʼm soooo excited beyond words! Amazing, amazing, amazing."
