Cassadee Pope vs. the Band Perry – The Showdown

Former 'The Voice' champion Cassadee Pope won her second straight Showdown song battle earlier this week, topping 'Miss You,' the latest from Darius Rucker. On Wednesday and Thursday the country newcomer's 'I Wish I Could Break Your Heart' will tangle with the Band Perry and their latest hit 'Chainsaw.'

Both songs are about low points in a relationship, but the two female vocalists handle their anxieties in very different ways. 'I Wish I Could Break Your Heart' is a sweet, almost desperate plea to be treated right, while Kimberly Perry busts out the weaponry in dealing with her emotions.

If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete.
