During the 2011 American Country Awards on Monday night (Dec. 5), Blake Shelton performed his recent multi-week No. 1 smash single, 'God Gave Me You.'

Thompson Square won Single of the Year by a Group, Single by a New Artist and Video by a New Artist all for 'Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not' at the 2011 American Country Awards.

Pistol Annies -- comprised of Ashley Monroe, Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert -- helped mix up the typicality's of the 2011 American Country Awards by performing their debut single, 'Hell on Heels.'

Scotty McCreery accepted his award for New Artist of the Year at the 2011 American Country Awards and proceeded to rattle off his thank yous like he'd been doing it since he was 12-years-old. "My first award and it's a dad-gum Telecaster," the 'American Idol' winner said before thanking fans and his management team. He even remembered to give a birthday shout out to his mother.

While their performance of 'Crazy Girl' at the 2011 American Country Awards may have been the Eli Young Band's first at a major country music award show, it sure didn't look like it. The Texas based quartet took the stage like old pros and the live audience ate it up.

Jason Aldean looked every bit the genuine country star clad in his trademark black cowboy hat, black leather jacket over black shirt, jeans and boots when he strolled to the podium to accept the award for Album of the Year for 'My Kinda Party' at the 2011 American Country Awards.

Blake Shelton was a multiple award winner during the 2011 American Country Awards, live from Las Vegas. Shelton's video for 'Who Are You When I'm Not Looking' locked in the win for both Music Video of the Year and Music Video of the Year by a Male Artist.

The 2011 American Country Awards winners were announced on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, and though it was only the second annual event, the A-list country music star showing proved that this is one awards show that's here to stay. With so many beautiful faces and even more talent, handing out awards to name the best of the best is no easy feat.
