Charlie Daniels turns 76 years old on October 28. That's a surprise to anyone who's seen the 'Devil Went Down to Georgia' hitmaker move around on stage in recent years. He shows no sign of slowing down or letting up on a heavy touring schedule.

Daniels is also an entertaining follow on Twitter. Few men his age have embraced social media with such passion, although if you don't like stars who mix music and politics, avoid @CharlieDaniels. An April eye surgery certainly didn't cloud his vision for America.
