Charlie Daniels said he was ready to rock after his pacemaker implant, and he meant it. The country music icon announced the lineup for the annual Charlie Daniels Band & Friends Christmas 4 Kids benefit concert, and in addition to the Charlie Daniels Band, it includes Justin Moore and other favorite acts.

Rounding out the lineup will be Sawyer Brown, Phil Vassar and Rodney Atkins. Charlie Chase will emcee the evening's festivities, which will take place Nov. 25 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

"Christmas 4 Kids is about helping underprivileged children who might not have much of a Christmas if it weren't for this organization,” says Daniels. “We'll be having fun helping to put smiles on a lot of faces this Christmas. Thank you Music City for your support and to our artist friends who come out every year."

Christmas 4 Kids, a non-profit organization, has been in existence for over 25 years and the funds generated by the concert, tour bus show and meet and greet provide over 400 children from 29 different schools with a day-long shopping excursion.

Not only do they get picked up from their school in an entertainer's luxury tour bus, there's also a dinner and a party, hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Hendersonville Expo Center (with his winter white hair and beard, we think Daniels would make a pretty good Saint Nick!).

Then, the shopping begins at Walmart, where these special kids receive a brand new winter coat (perfect for upcoming chilly weather) and $150 to spend on anything they want! We imagine the smiles on their faces is a gift in itself, and it's exciting that so many country artists want to provide that type of memory to underprivileged kids.
