The beauty of seeing an artist live is the fact that you just never know what might happen.  The unexpected happened at Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., over the weekend, when Chase Rice brought up his adorable niece to sing with him on stage.

"When your niece is more of a rock star than you’ll ever be," he writes alongside a video of the little blonde leading the crowd in the singing of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."

"Probably my favorite moment I’ve ever had on stage."

The fans soaked up the little girl and her ambitious performance as much as Rice did, eagerly joining in on the impromptu singalong and getting all of their phones out to capture the moment.

Rice knows he can always count on his loyal fandom to support him— in a press release about U.K. shows last year, he remarked: "The fans that came out to the shows sang every word to every song."

This special moment with his niece was one of many highlights at 2018 Tortuga, which ran April 6-8 and also featured sets from Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Eric Church, Dan + Shay and Kip Moore. The stage is situated on the shores of south Florida’s Atlantic seaboard and the event raises funds and awareness about marine conservation and research.
