After just four months of engagement, Chely Wright married girlfriend Lauren Blitzer in August 2011. The wedding reception included about 200 guests at Blitzer's aunt's home in Connecticut. “The freedom of being out and open about who I am allowed me to find and fall in love with Lauren -- the most amazing woman I’ve ever known,” the singer told People. Both a reverend and a rabbi presided over the ceremony, as Wright is Christian and Blitzer is Jewish. The couple finally squeezed in a honeymoon in November 2011.
