Chris Ethridge was one of Willie Nelson's early bandmates and the founder of the Flying Burrito Brothers. His death touched greats like Nelson and Booker T. Jones, and also Randy Houser, who tweeted about his close friendship with the bassist. "Nobody played it like you brother,” he tweeted. Ethridge toured with Nelson for eight years and played on his 1978 single, 'Whiskey River.' He died in April after a hospitalization in Meridian, Miss. Ethridge was 65.
