Chris Stapleton turned heads at the CMA Awards with his performance of "Tennessee Whiskey" with Justin Timberlake, including pop singer Sara Bareilles. She posted a video on Instagram of herself covering the tune, and Stapleton reposted it with glowing accolades.

Bareilles is understandably obsessed with the song, originally made famous by David Allan Coe and George Jones, noting she “literally can’t stop listening” and is “singing it all day long.” Not that we’re complaining, and neither is Stapleton, who was clearly impressed by her skills.

The bluesy ballad appears on Stapleton’s debut country record Traveller, which swept several CMA Awards last week, Nov. 4. The artist not only nabbed Male Vocalist of the Year, but incredibly, Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year. His widespread presence at the event, not to mention his stellar performance with Timberlake, had country fans buzzing immediately, and they haven’t stopped talking about him since. Since the performance, Traveller has hit No. 1 on the Billboard country album chart and Billboard Top 200. It’s the first debut country record to hit No. 1 on the former in four years.

Stapleton's remaining tour dates have already sold out, but no extra dates have been added yet.
