Chris Stapleton continues to dominate the country scene with his two breakthrough albums, Traveller and  From A Room: Volume 1, appearing in the top two spots on the list of best-selling country albums of 2017, currently.

From A Room dropped in May of 2017 and has sold nearly 500,000 copies so far. And while Traveller was released in 2015, it's still making a resounding impact on Stapleton's career, pushing another 396,000 copies this year alone, bringing the total number of albums sold in the U.S. to two million. Additionally, Volume 1 saw Stapleton at the top of the Billboard charts, debuting at No. 1 on the Country Albums and Top Albums Sales chart, as well as reaching No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, giving him the biggest sales week since Luke Bryan released Kill the Lights in 2015.

Stapleton's success finds him at the top of a list of fellow superstars pushing big numbers with their album sales, as Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line and Brantley Gilbert round out the top five. Urban's Ripcord lands him in third place with 381,000 copies sold in 2017, while FGL claim 287,0000 copies with Dig Your Roots. Gilbert's The Devil Don't Sleep has sold almost 285,000 units since its early 2017 release.

All of the songs off Stapleton's 2017 project were written a decade ago and includes tracks like “Either Way" with his wife Morgane and a cover of Willie Nelson's "Last Thing I Needed This Morning." “If it held up for you the day you wrote it and it holds up for you in a completely different segment of your life, hopefully that means it will hit more people and it will mean more to more people," he says about the songs.

From A Room: Volume 2 drops later in 2017.
