Chris Stapleton was the name on everyone's lips after the CMA Awards, and for good reason. The singer-songwriter won three awards during the Nov. 4 event: New Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Traveller.

Thanks to a spirited performance with Justin Timberlake and his three wins, Stapleton's debut album Traveller, which was released in May, rocketed to No. 1 on both Billboard's Country Album Chart and the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.

The best-selling first week album by a debut country artist this year, Traveller sold 153,428 units last week, which made it the fourth biggest sales week for any country album so far in 2015. Traveller also became the first debut country album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in four years.

Traveller was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A by Vance Powell and co-produced by Dave Cobb and Stapleton.

According to a press release, after the CMA Awards aired the remaining dates of Stapleton's current tour also sold out, begging the question of whether additional dates will be added.
