The biggest voice in country music is coming to WE Fest in 2019. Chris Stapleton has just been announced as the first headliner for the Aug. 1-3 camping and country music party in Detroit Lakes, Minn.

The reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year and perennial Album of the Year nominee was announced as the 2019 headliner on Friday night (Aug. 3), shortly before Florida Georgia Line took the stage. In recent years the booming vocalist has become country music's most celebrated artist, earning rave reviews from critics, the industry and (most importantly) fans. The WE Fest headliner is one of country music's most in-demand singers.

Anyone with reserved or VIP seats at 2018 WE Fest can immediately renew their tickets for 2019 at the on-site ticket booth. Otherwise, ticket information will be available in the coming weeks at the WE Fest website.

FGL joined Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean for the 36th annual WE Fest this weekend (Aug 2-4). Justin Moore, Chris Young and Vince Gill were also among the nearly two dozen artists that took one of two stages.

Stapleton is best known for hit songs like "Fire Away," "Parachute," "Tennessee Whiskey," "Broken Halos" and "Millionaire." Fans know the album cuts from his three studio albums are as important a part of his live show as the radio cuts.
