Chris Young, Brinley Addington

Chris Young must really love music. As if his busy performing schedule (he's been out on the road with Miranda Lambert and her dogs this year) wasn't enough to curb his appetite for the music industry, Young is opening a new artist development and production company in Music City. But hey, if a successful country music star doesn't know how to manage artists, who does?

Young is teaming up with business manager Becky Harris and hit songwriter Anthony Smith (he penned  Young's 'Tomorrow') to create Artist Concepts, a production and artist development company fostering up-and-coming talent in the music industry. Together, the three partners have been scouring Nashville to find the next big country music star.

As it turns out, they might have already found country music's next big thing at Belmont University. That's where Artist Concepts discovered Brinley Addington, who is their newest talent. Currently, they are calling for songs for this talented singer to try. The team plans to take Addington into the studio within the next month to produce several sides to pitch to Nashville record labels with a showcase to be scheduled in the near future.

Of course, you've probably heard of Addington already. The hopeful country star has opened for Young himself, and he recently was added to the lineup on the Blake Shelton & Friends cruise. If Chris Young has anything to do with it, we'll be hearing more from Addington in the near future.
