Country newcomer Clare Dunn is set to release her self-titled debut EP this September.

The Colorado native co-wrote and co-produced all five songs on the project. She brings a blend of rock and roll and country to each track, traits the singer tends to carry. Dunn is also owner to the lead guitar credit on each cut.

"Move On" is the first single off the EP to hit radio airwaves. The ultimate girl-power song features obvious hints of rock and roll and killer guitar parts that keep it interesting. It is easy to hear her rock influences, and it's apparent why classic rocker Bob Seger tapped her to open shows for him.

"I just try to do what I think my heroes did, and what I observe them doing," Dunn told Rolling Stone Country recently. "To me, I think Seger, the Eagles and Keith [Urban] all followed their sense of direction. When you picked up one of their records, it was undeniably who they were."

You can see Dunn tear up the stage with cuts from her EP, as well as a few covers, when she teams up with Miranda Lambert on her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tourChris Young also asked Dunn to join him on his I'm Comin' Over tour, which is slated to start in late October.

Clare Dunn will be available through digital retailers starting on Sept. 18.
