Congratulations to Cross Canadian Ragweed's Cody Canada and his band, the Departed, who lead the Texas music chart with their song 'Ballad of Rosalie' at No. 1 this week. That's a two-spot jump from No. 3 on last week's chart, taking Cory Morrow's front-running position.

Morrow fell all the way to No. 4 over the big holiday weekend, and woke up to find himself sitting behind Kevin Fowler's 'Hell Yeah, I Like Beer' (us, too) and Eli Young Band's 'Crazy Girl' at No. 2 and 3, respectively.

While Fowler is second place this week, that's a big earning compared to last week's No. 4 spot and the week before, when he was barely in the running at No. 8. A few weeks ago, the big-name country singer -- who has rubbed elbows with Colt Ford in past videos -- started putting together his own 'Hell Yeah' music video and called on fans for the assist. We can't wait to see what kind of silly antics his Fowler fanatics spun in the final take!

Also in the Top 10 on the Texas music chart this week are Cody Johnson's 'Texas King of Way,' Granger Smith with 'Sleeping on the Interstate' and JB and the Moonshine Band's 'Whiskey Days.' Keep it clicked to Taste of Country as we bring you the latest on what’s happening in Texas country music week after week.
