In one of the closest Texas Red Dirt Rumbles ever, Cody Canada and the Departed scooted by JB and the Moonshine Band, advancing the former Cross Canadian Ragweed frontman and his band to another round. This time they'll square off against another Cody, Cody Johnson and his new song 'Diamond in My Pocket.'

Johnson's new song is currently No. 6 on the Texas music chart. The former state prison supervisor included the cut on his latest album 'A Different Day,' co-produced by Trent Willmon. It's been less than a year since he quit the prison job to take on country music full time, and his successes have justified the risk.

Cody Canada and the Departed, on the other hand, are much more seasoned. 'Skyline Radio' has already topped the Texas music chart, and their 'This is Indian Land' album provided any reassurance Canada's longtime fans needed that he'd still feed their Red Dirt hunger. Listen to both songs and decide which you like better. Voting ends on February 29 at 11:59ET.
