It looks like it's going to be Cole Swindell's year. The singer-songwriter just announced the release date for his self-titled debut album, and it will hit the shelves in the new year, making his first dose of 2014 a pretty great one.

Swindell, known for his current hit 'Chillin' It,' is doing anything but chillin' as he prepares for the self-titled album's release. His popular and energetic single is the highest selling debut single from a solo country male in 2013 -- a phenomenal start to the singer's career -- selling over 500,000 copies.

Now, country fans can't wait to hear what else he has up his sleeve.

The Georgia native had a remarkable 2013, opening up for buddy Luke Bryan‘s Dirt Road Diaries Tour and Farm Tour, but the year was also marked especially tragic with the unexpected loss of his dad.

Swindell's new album, along with Bryan's That's My Kind of Night Tour, will keep him plenty busy in 2014. Here's to a year full of nothing but joy! 'Cole Swindell' is scheduled for release on Feb. 18.
