Cole Swindell is having a big month already! Not only is the country newcomer kicking off his very own headlining tour, he's also releasing brand new music to bring with him.

Swidell's self-titled debut album, had two No. 1 hits with 'Chillin' It' and 'Hope You Get Lonely Tonight' and cemented his spot as one of country's hottest newcomers. Now, he's releasing his 'Down Home Sessions' EP, complete with five new tracks.

"I’m always writing and I have lots of songs that I want my fans to hear," says Swindell. "As a songwriter, that’s what you want, but everything can’t always make it onto your album, so I decided the best way to release this music was to put together the ‘Down Home Sessions’ EP. The start of my Down Home Tour seemed like the perfect time to put this collection together for the fans, not that I need an excuse to thank them for all the support they have given me over the past year."

The 31-year-old Georgia native just finished up an extremely successful run with Luke Bryan's record-breaking That's My Kind of Night Tour, and now he's capitalizing on that momentum with his own set of headlining gigs.

"I feel so fortunate that country music fans and country radio have embraced me in such a huge way," he says. "It’s what an artist dreams about. I’ve been lucky enough to get a jump start performing alongside Luke Bryan in front of massive crowds, and while I wouldn’t change anything for the experience I’ve gained so far, I know I still have a lot of work to do on the road."

Swindell's 'Down Home Sessions' EP is set to release on Nov. 17 and is available now for pre-order on iTunes. Check out the track listing below!
