Colt Ford helped write Jason Aldean’s hit song ‘Dirt Road Anthem,’ so it’s no surprise he does it justice during this acoustic rendition. Watch as the singer and his band lay it down during another exclusive Taste of Country in-studio performance.

Ford wrote the song with Brantley Gilbert, and Gilbert recorded it for his 'Halfway to Heaven' album. The Georgia-raised singer stays true to the version fans fell in love with while Aldean took it to No. 1 on the country radio charts. Ford's band takes each chorus, while the big guy spits out each verse as if he were reciting from his personal journal.

In July, Ford released his fifth studio album 'Thanks for Listening,' which includes collaborations with Keith Urban, Lee Brice, Randy Houser and many more. Ford and Aldean have previously collaborated on 'Drivin' Around Song.'
