It's almost time for the new year, so Taste of Country has compiled a list of the Top 100 Country Songs of 2010 that were popular on radio and on our own playlists. Although some of the songs on the list were released in the previous year, they've become monster hits in 2010 within the country world, as people can’t seem to stop listening to them.

The Band Perry's breakout hit 'If I Die Young' comes in at No. 4 on our countdown of the Top 100 Country Songs of 2010. The single marked the sibling band's first song to chart within the Top 10 of Billboard's country songs. It was also their first hit to surface within the Top 20 on Billboard's Hot 100. At No. 3 is Zac Brown Band's third No. 1 single on the hot country charts, 'Highway 20 Ride.' The heartfelt song was co-written by Zac Brown and Wyatt Durette.

At No. 2 on our Top 100 Country Songs of 2010 list is Lady Antebellum's anthem 'Need You Now.' This song is especially significant, since it branched out beyond the country genre and into pop radio. The song dominated award shows throughout 2010, earning Lady Antebellum a total of seven awards, including a CMA award and ACM awards. Although 'Need You Now' was a huge hit, it still could not surpass the powerhouse that is Miranda Lambert. The country singer's ballad 'The House That Built Me' is the fastest-rising single in her entire career, and it spent four weeks at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard hot country chart.
