Country Stars and Their Moms – Meghan Linsey of Steel Magnolia

Meghan Linsey of Steel Magnolia grew up in Ponchatoula, La. before she moved to Nashville to eventually form the country duo with boyfriend Joshua Scott Jones. The blonde singer posted this picture of her with mom Roberta on her Twitter page after a fun girls night out. "Country is all my mom listened to," she says at the duo's website. "That was definitely in my blood. My dad was very 70s rock and roll. The combination of my dad and my mom's influences along with living in New Orleans in such a musical environment, it definitely all influenced the way I sing."
