While George Strait's acting resume is thin, it includes perhaps the best movie about country music of all time. 'Pure Country,' a story about a superstar taking a break from the hype and amphitheater tours to find his roots, also included a pretty great soundtrack. The fact that Strait hasn't acted since -- aside from voicing a character on 'King of the Hill' -- seems to indicate that the movie may have been more of an autobiography that anyone thought in 1992.
