Country Stars Who Have Acted: Kris Kristofferson

While the country-star-to-Hollywood transition has been made to look easy by so many singers, very few have actual hardware to show for their struggles. Kris Kristofferson won a Golden Globe for the 1978 movie 'A Star Is Born,' which co-starred Barbara Streisand. He's been in dozens of movies, including the 'Blade' trilogy, 'Payback,' 'Planet of the Apes' and most recently, 'Dolphin Tale.'
