Country’s Best Guitarist – Readers Poll

Country musicians aren't really prone to arguments about who's a better guitarist than who compared to players and fans are in other genres. It's not a format know for skillful pickers, which is unfortunate because hiding behind the stories that define country music are talented musicians who are capable of keeping up with just about anyone in rock or blues. Which country guitarist do you think is the best right now?

Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Vince Gill are the first three names one thinks of when pondering this question, and indeed all three are on the ballot. Also added are newcomer Casey James -- who shreds all over his debut album -- and the acoustic proficiency of Taylor Swift. Granted, she hasn't shown skills as a lead guitarist like the others, but her progressions lead to very interesting songs.
