Craig Campbell's new single 'Fish' is the second release from his self-titled debut album that hit stores in April. The song is the perfect summertime tune and one that will keep the listener "hooked" until the very last note.

"It's about fishing," Campbell tells Taste of Country of the lyrics. "It's all about me and my girl going fishing because that's what she loves to do. The first part of the song is talking about how she's never been. Then when we go, that's all she wants to do from then on, which is cool because that's all I want to do!"

"The first time we did it I was scared to death / She snuck out in that cotton dress / Jumped on in and we drove to the lake / Put her hand on my knee and said, ‘I can’t wait’ / I had everything we needed in the back of my truck / Turns out my baby loves to … fish," he sings.

"It has a rhyme scheme that's not correct, so you're thinking something else is fixing to be said, but it's not," notes Campbell.

"She wants to do it all the time / Early in the morning, in the middle of the night / She’s hooked / Now she can’t enough / Man, that girl sure loves to fish," he sings in the lyrics of the song's chorus.

"It's one of my biggest songs live," says Campbell of his new single. "'Fish' is the perfect summertime song!"
