Craig Morgan will hit the road this fall on his 2017 American Stories Tour, bringing along several friends for an in-the-round-style set, where each artist will play his or her music as well as share the stories behind their songs.

"I believe that doing this show the way we're doing it is the way the music was supposed to be presented," Morgan says in a video announcing the tour. "I'm singing for a few songs and then I'm bringing out guests and we're talking. This is more than in the round, this is guys telling stories about our country, God and family and things that are important to us."

American Stories 2017 kicks off on Sept. 29 and runs through Nov. 11. Special guests throughout the 12-city tour include songwriter Marla Cannon-Goodman (“The Fool,” “Rock On”), best-selling author (American Wife) and veteran family activist Taya Kyle, songwriter/producer Phil O’Donnell (“Give It All We Got Tonight,” “Back When I Knew It All”), Third Day frontman Mac Powell, Medal of Honor recipient and author (Red Platoon: A True Story of American Valor) Clint Romesha, as well as Morgan's daughter, singer-songwriter Aly Beaird.

Tickets go on sale June 16 at CraigMorgan.com.

"I’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to play massive arenas in front of thousands upon thousands of people but there is something really special about these smaller, intimate shows where I’m sitting onstage with my guitar and sharing stories from my heart," Morgan admits. "I’m bringing out guests and we’re talking and singing and telling stories about our country and God and family and all the things that are important to us."
