If summer must come to an end, at least we have Craig Morgan's annual golf tournament and festival to look forward to in the fall.

The 9th annual charity event benefiting the Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation will take place on Oct. 17. All proceeds from the day will support foster children throughout Middle Tennessee. A competitive game of golf with the country star and award-winning TV host will start the day, followed by a family-friendly festival that will feature a live performance from Morgan and some of his closest friends.

All of the festivities are open to the public, and tickets will go on sale starting Aug. 8 at CraigMorgan.com. More participants in the concert will be announced as the event draws nearer.

Morgan is going above and beyond in the charitable donations department this year; in addition to putting on this event, the country singer will also be hosting the second annual Billy’s Place 5K at Montgomery Bell State Park to support the same cause. The race is set to take off on Aug. 22.

The All Access Outdoors host recently celebrated his 200th show at the Grand Ole Opry, and is looking forward to celebrating his seventh anniversary as a member this fall. Morgan has spent much of 2015 in the studio working on new music with producer Byron Gallimore. There is no official release date yet for the new album, but he hopes to have it out by the end of 2015.
