Craig Wayne Boyd took the stage alongside his coach and mentor Blake Shelton during a 'The Voice' finale performance on Monday night (Dec. 15). The two -- who are becoming fast friends -- strummed their guitars together for Randy Houser's 'Boots On.'

And as it turns out, the song is a perfect fit for Boyd's grizzly, Southern sound.

The hopeful took the reins to kick off the song's first verse, while Shelton rocked out on guitar beside him. Boyd is becoming a natural, and he looked confident as possible next to the superstar. The two harmonized on Houser's original, making it sound like it was meant to be a duet -- their duet.

But even though the upbeat, fun delivery made 'Boots On' a highlight of the night during 'The Voice' final performances, it wasn't Boyd's best work on Monday. That title goes to his performance of his debut single, 'My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face,' which you can watch here.
