Hit songwriter Dallas Davidson and wife Natalia recently welcomed their first child, a boy.

Dallas Gerald Davidson Jr. was born on Feb. 25 in Nashville, TN. The tiny tot arrived at 7:49AM local time and weighed 7 lbs., 9 oz. and was 20 in. long at birth. Both Natalia and little Dallas are doing well.

“I’ve always wanted children,” Davidson tells Country Weekly. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wanted a son. I have the greatest wife — and now mother — and a beautiful healthy boy. This is what life is all about. I feel like I’m floating on clouds right now. I’m as happy as I’ve ever been. God is great. I’m blessed beyond my wildest dreams.”

While the 36-year-old songwriter has reached an impressive level of success in his career, his first priority is to his wife and son.

Davidson has scored 19 chart-topping hits for singers like Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice, Randy Houser, Billy Currington, Justin Moore, Luke Bryan and more. In addition, he has recorded over 250 songs throughout his prolific and vibrant career. Twenty of these songs made it to the Top 10, and 25 made it to the Top 20.

He shares his love of music with his wife Natalia, who is an Australian songwriter signed to Warner Chappell Music. Little Dallas will not only have two wonderful, loving parents; he will also have some out-of-this-world original lullabies!
