Dan + Shay Team Up With Nick Jonas for Stellar Mashup at 2015 ACM Awards

The ACM Awards aren’t called “country music’s biggest party” for nothing. Breaking the rules is what parties are for, and country duo Dan + Shay did so by transforming into a slick trio for one night only with the addition of pop star Nick Jonas at the ACMs Sunday night (April 19).

The three young heartthrobs performed a mashup of their songs together, starting with a stripped down rendition of Jonas’ mega-hit "Jealous." The guys blended masterfully in three-part harmony before launching into a full-on mashup of Jonas’ follow up single, "Chains," and Dan + Shay’s "Nothin’ Like You.”

It seemed as if the three had been performing together for years as they owned the stage and meshed the two styles together. Fans ate up the unique performance, which we hope will not be their last together.

Dan + Shay, who recently opened up for ACM co-host Blake Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier tour as well as Hunter Hayes, were also nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year in the 2015 ACM Awards.
