Country Artists We’ve Lost in 2013: Dan Toler

Dan Toler wasn't an original member of the Allman Brothers Band, but his influence was heavy during the early '80s, until he joined Gregg Allman's solo band. One can find Toler's guitar on hits like 'I'm No Angel' -- in fact, he and his brother Frankie were both a part of the group at that time. In 2011 Toler was diagnosed with ALS. He died in February 2013 at the age of 65. His brother preceded him in death in 2011 due to complications from a liver transplant.
